DAY 1- PICKUP FROM AIRPORT AND TRANSFER TO HOTEL, AFTER LUNCH GO TO CELLULAR JAIL, NATIONAL MEMORIAL- THE HISTORIC CELLULAR JAIL NEAR PORT BLAIR WAS BUILT IN AN INHOSPITABLE ENVIRONMENT BY THE BRITISH IN THE LATE 19TH CENTURY, WHERE COUNTLESS MARTYRS OF INDIA’S INDEPENDENCE STRUGGLE WERE INCARCERATED AND EVEN EXECUTED. TODAY,BESIDES THE POIGNANT SPIRIT OF THE PREMISES, YOU CAN ENJOY A LIGHT AND SOUND SHOW AS WELL. CORBYN’S COVE AND ‘THE WAVE’-IT IS POT BLAIR’S ONLY BEACH, WHICH IS WELL DEVELOPED FOR TOURISTS.
DAY 2- EARLY MORNING(3 AM) GO TO BARATANG ISLAND (JAROWA RESERVED FOREST)- 100 KM. BY ROAD FROM PORT BLAIR. THIS ISLAND IS BETWEEN SOUTH AND MIDDLE ANDAMAN HAS BEACHES, MANGROVE CREEKS, LIMESTONE CAVES (OWN COST) BY SPEED BOAT AND BACK TO PORT BLAIR HOTEL.
DAY 3- EARLY MORNING GO TO HAVELOCK ISLAND AND VISIT ASIA’S MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH- THIS ISLAND, WITH BEAUTIFUL SANDY BEACHES FRINGED BY A GREEN CANOPY OF THE RAIN FOREST BECKONS EVERYONE TO ENJOY THE FUN OF THE AZURE BLUE SEA, RADHANAGAR SEA BEACH AND NIGHT STAY AT HAVELOCK.
DAY 4- AFTER BREAKFAST GO TO NEIL ISLAND- THIS BEAUTIFUL ISLAND WITH LUSH GREEN FOREST AND SANDY BEACHES IS THE VEGETABLE BLOW OF ANDAMAN’S. NEIL, WITH ITS VERY RELAXED VIBES AND LONG, DESERTED BEACHES IS A PLACE TO CHILL OUT. SERENE BEACHES OF BHARATPUR, NATURAL CORAL REEF AND LAXMANPUR SUNSET POINT ARE LIKE PICTURE POSTCARD. NIGHT STAY AT NEIL.
DAY 5- EARLY MORNING BACK TO PORT BLAIR AND VISIT CHIDIYATAPU SUNSET POINT- 28 KM. FROM PORT BLAIR, CHIDIYATAPU HAS PRISTINE BEACH AND CORAL GARDENS, THIS SOUTHERN MOST TIP OF SOUTH ANDAMAN ISLAND PROVIDES A PERFECT VIEW DURING SUNSET.
DAY 6- AFTER BREAKFAST VISIT ANTHROPOLOGICAL MUSEUM- PROVIDES INSIGHT INTO THE WORLD OF PER-HISTORIC INHABITANTS OF THE ISLAND. SAMUDRIKA NAVAL MUSEUM- COLLECTIOON OF SHELLS AND MARINE CREATURES, CHATHAM SAW MEAL- CHATHAM IS A SMALL ISLAND AT THE MOUTH OF PORT BLAIR HARBOUR, THIS ISLAND HAS GREAT SIGNIFICANCE AS IT WAS HERE THAT THE SETTLEMENT IN THE ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLAND BEGAN. THE ISLAND ALSO HAS ONE OF THE OLDEST SAW MILLS IN ASIA, SET UP IN 1883. DESTROYED IN WORLD WAR-2, THE SAW MILL WAS REVIVED IN THE 1950. FISHERIES MUSEUM- OVER 350 SPICEC OF MARINE LIFE ARE SHOWCASED AND AT EVENING GO TO SHOPPING.
DAY 7- ROSS ISLAND- ONCE THE ADMINISTRATIVE HEAD QUARTERS OF THE BRITISH IS NOW MAINTAINED BY THE INDIAN NAVY. RUINS OF THE BYGONE DAYS WITH THE OLD STRUCTURES ALMOST IN DEBRIS ARE SEEN. THERE MINI MUSEUM ‘SMRITIKA’ HOLDS PHOTOGRAPHS AND ANTIQUES OF THE BRITISH RELEVANT TO THESE ISLAND.
DAY 8- AIRPORT DROP AS PER FLIGHT SCHEDULE WITH COLOURFUL MEMORIES.
